Reluctantly relinquishing his amateur musician status, and therefore any hopes of winning the gold medal, Providence-based John Windle has decided to go pro. To many, this is a long time coming. To others, who cares? Evidently, it's happening, whether you like it or not.
John has played with Northeast veteran indie-greats eli, if not for me, Bi Janus, and, (Wishing Tree Records recording artists & Providence Phoenix Best Music Poll nominees) Delphine.
John's abilities to blend indie rock, pop, and folk musical sensibilities, scathing lyrics, and creative melodies, into a cohesive sound make for a music experience that is unique and refreshing.
There will be much more to follow in the near future. For now, John is diligently writing and recording at home, as well as running the open mike every Monday @ Everyman, 555 Valley Street, Providence, RI 02908.
Solo tunes will be posted soon, I think...Hoping to have some demos up by February 2009... We'll see what happens! :)
Please enjoy the music while you wait. (some of the aforementioned projects...)
