My name is Joy- I've been more or less involved in the Goth scene for over 15 years in this city. I started out dj-ing by a stroke of luck at Lipservice at the Roman Room (now called...*shudder* Rumshakers) then moved onto Ceremony, the longest running goth night in Pittsburgh at the Upstage Lounge-I've spun with the likes of Martin Atkins and schmoozed with Razed in Black. But consider me retired.

Although I love all things goth- such as the music (The Virgin Prunes, The Birthday Party, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus) and the usual blah blah of cemeteries, horror films, and hand stapled to forehead poetry, the best concerts seen in my life was Prince and Public Enemy. For lack of a better term, I am "corp goth" and I currently work for a large hospital pre-registering your ass for your outpatient services from home. I am insanely close to my family. Not in that creepy kind of way- but close.
