In life, there are many things that run who we are. Energies that surround us, but are left unseen. Basic laws of humanity that run who and where we are. Life itself, is full of this. Such examples would dictate the existence of The DOOD. In life, you have chaos and order.
This Sarasota Florida band established themselves in 2006 with the union of vocalist Mike(Boxzilla)Stockton, guitarist Ray Gunderson, and bassist Jonzey. They have been carving their name into the local scene ever since by utilizing their unique, versatile song structure along with a high energy stage presence second to none. With the positive attitude and professional musicianship of newly added drummer Jerry Sullivan, formerly of Mind Machine, the band has a new outlook for the future of The DOOD. They plan to return to the recording studio in 2009 and after the release of their highly anticipated EP, they plan to tour the state extensively. The DOOD have shared the stages with the likes of Ankla, Pro-Pain, Neurotica, Ekotren, Bobaflex and Hydrovibe, Crossbreed and COLD!
