Is that all you got? We are not sure.
Join the Guild are not going to be playing shows for a while because some of us are doing other, more important things.
We had a wicked last show (thanks Ross) at the Exeter college fresher’s fair. For the first time and hopefully not the last, all our songs were played correctly, not much equipment broke and the Mac worked, although, there was blood.
So for now, Sami can be found pushing the boundaries of music in London. Gareth can be found using Photoshop and drinking in Exeter. Joe can be found with a guitar and a Gamecube in Totnes and Tristan can be found in Europe/Thailand/China/Japan/Teignmouth.
During the next year chords will be strung together, lyrics will be written, loud organs shall sound, and music will be recorded.
We have never had it easy or been that conventional in how we do things, this is just how we roll. I am exited to see what we can accomplish.
The future looks difficult for us but that does mean there is one.

We would like to thank all the bands who supported Coombeshead Studios during 2007. It was our busiest year ever at just short of 100 bands, and allowed us to spend several thousand pounds on some major upgrades, launching us from a low budget studio to a fully professional setup. We continue to offer our low budget prices but offer a greater flexibility of control and greatly improved quality!

Spitz Presents: ' A Great Night In The Spitz' the crème of London’s musicians plus some very special guests.
With a nod in the direction of Art Kane's 1958 photograph of New York jazz greats ‘A Great Day In Harlem’, The Spitz celebrates 11 incredible years at the heart of London’s live music scene with A Great Night In The Spitz. Like Kane, we will be immortalising the event with a group photo of the performers, shot on our fire escape.
The group photo pays homage to Art Kane’s photo and will serve as a marker to pinpoint the end of an era, and the start of a new beginning for The Spitz.
The evening will feature two floors of the best jazz, blues and acoustic. Some of the finest musicians to have performed at The Spitz have been invited to play. The Spitz Jazz Collective featuring Miles Danso and Alan Weekes, London’s longest running residency, will be hosting the evening and co-ordinating slots.
Upstairs in the venue, there will be a rolling improvised jazz jam with The Spitz Jazz Collective at its core. Seb Rochford’s band, featuring Pete Wareham and Tom Herbert (Polar Bear and Acoustic Ladyland), will be performing, as will ex Acid Jazzer and Afro-centric saxophonist Bukky Leo. A wild set from sax and trumpet player Terry Edwards. Multi-instrumentalist and master bass and tabla player Shri has promised to turn up with his flute in his back pocket, plus we have some very special guests playing, friends of The Spitz who have supported us over the years, who we are unable to announce as they’d sell the night out within minutes on their own!
In the bistro, the crème of London’s acoustic, folk and blues musicians perform alongside some of the extrovert characters that have found a home from home on stage at The Spitz. Sandy Dillon headlines with her distinctive jazz-punk western blues. The line up includes Pete Molinari and Monc. Parkbench DJs.
