| General | My main interest is in the paranormal, I have been investigating things that go bump in the night for over 16 years now, and have spent the night in some pretty interesting locations, including Dover Castle, and the Tudor house in Margate.
My own group is Thanet Paranormal Investigations and we have been going for just over two years now, but we tend to work closely with other groups, mostly isle of the dead, and you can see our investigation reports on their website www.isleofthedead.co.uk
Also interested in history, and enjoy visiting historic buildings. | | Music | Bit of a blank area I'm afraid, am really not into music as such, nice to have in the background, but dont follow any band, or have any particular style | | Movies | Horror and sci fi, and ghostbusters of course and must admit to loving those old black and white 1950's ufo films where you can almost see the strings holding them up. | | Television | Dr Who, Torchwood, Ghostwhisperer, Supernatural, anything like that, best ever mini series, V.
Hate soaps, rarely watch them too depressing, why turn depression into a form of entertainment?
Like anything historical, especially if it is about the Tudors. | | Books | Mostly paranormal/ufo related, ghost stories, books on the unexplained,ufo's but do also like sci fi and horror fiction. Have been known to read the odd historical novel too, but definately no mushy love stories. | | Heroes | Dont think I have any, except perhaps people who manage to go through life without deliberately hurting others. And people not afraid to stand up for what they believe in. |

About me:
I am old enough to know better, but still young enough to keep making the same mistakes, wont give exact age, as even in cyberspace they can see you blush
I am widowed,live and work on the Isle of Thanet, or Planet Thanet as it is better known, and if you have ever visited it, you will know why it is called Planet Thanet, aliens visited us in 1947 too, the only difference was they didnt crash, they landed and mingled with the local population.

Who I'd like to meet:
I would like to meet people who share my interests, maybe make a few new friends, (No, actually my friend bullied me and made me join, and she is monitoring myspace to make sure that I keep adding new people to it.) She also said I couldnt nick any of her friends, but that was a bit like putting a wet paint sign in front of me and telling me not to touch it
