I love dancing, in all forms (except ballet and country). My favorite is Salsa!
Archaeology and anthropology fascinate me. I'm going back to school to get my Master's in Anthropology, and then I want to open a survival school teaching Athabascan-style techniques. I also want to study Biblical Archaeology and prove that King David existed.

I grew up loving Madonna. Just flat-out, she's my all-time favorite.
Also in heavy rotation on my iPod:
Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Gloria Estefan, The Gotan Project, Russell Crowe and the Ordinary Fear of God, Matisyahu

I have been taking Salsa lessons for one year now, and have become a very good follower with a strong sense of rhythm. My group is currently very fascinated by Salsa Rueda, Cuban-style.
I am also skilled in Bachata, Merengue and ChaChaCha
I studied theatre in college, but discovered that my style is better suited to filmed media. I tend to play strong, seductive women, like Lena Olin, only shorter.
About me: Hi, all. This is the part where I pretend to be really interesting, but you get to figure out that I'm a complete nerd. Cute, maybe even sexy, but a nerd nonetheless.
On with the show.
My current interests go back to my (ultra nerdy) childhood. How to save the planet.
I used to be the kid who would run from room to room in the house, turning off light swiches in empty rooms. Now that I'm older, I don't do that as much...but I'm really excited to have replaced all the commonly used lights in my house with compact flourescent bulbs. Now, the only ones that aren't CFLs are in my bedroom (where the light is hardly ever on), my sister's bedroom (where I wouldn't dare go), and the recessed and dimmable lighting in the living room, dining room, and kitchen. When the current bulbs go bad, I'll figure out how to make them green, but for now, I'm just going to let nature run its course...hahaha.
Other than that, I'm getting really excited about re-learning minimum-impact camping. I used to help teach low-impact skills through Girl Scouts, but I haven't used those skills in years. This summer, it's time to get them back. For the past year or so, I've been trying to figure out how to save enough money to go to Boulder Outdoor Survival School. Just recently, they announced what the 2007 Permanant Fund Dividend will be...as it happens, just enough for a 14-day course at BOSS. HOORAY!
After almost 2 years of working 2 jobs and not taking the time to realize how I impact the environment, I'm trying to get back to my roots. I'm eating better, meaning I'm eating foods that resemble things found in nature again, and trying to just generally make better choices.
Who I'd like to meet: People to hang out with and have a great time...people who challenge me to be a better person.
