About me: I am a qualified teacher with a Honours Degree in History and Philosophy and a Degree in Education, Geography, Geology and Divinity. For the last 30 years I have worked at the University of Glamorgan in South Wales (I must be MAD!). I live near Porthcawl with my Partner Lisa and son Matthew and my dog Monty, who are all Hawkwind fans! (Yes even the dog, who has also seen them live at the Hawkfest). As of Easter 2008 we have a new addition to the family, an Alaskan Malamute called Logan...very cute! Monty is now his dad!
I live for my family and music. I class myself as a Lotus Eater and my work is a means to that end. I wish I enjoyed my work but you can't have everything! If there's a gig worth going to then distance is no object (as long as I can afford it at the time!) but I'll travel to the ends of the Earth to see my favourite bands Hawkwind and Tangerine Dream!
I'm a firm believer in the following awesome lyrics of 'CHILDREN OF THE SUN' by HAWKWIND :-
THE GOLDEN AGE OF THE FUTURE COMES
THAT WHICH WAS DREAMED OF IN THE PAST
WHERE FREEDOM REIGNS ON MINDS OF PEACE
MINDS RICH IN WISDOM TO THE LAST
WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE SUN
AND THIS IS OUR INHERITANCE
NO LONGER CHAOS AND CONFUSION
BUT LOVE AND LAUGHTER
SONG AND DANCE
...and remember..."A pale blue dot is all we got" Space Ritual.
And in the words of Dave Brock, "Is there life out there?" You bet there is:-The Untold History of the Disclosure Project
Who I'd like to meet: I suppose you think I'd say Hawkwind, but I have met all of them (most have stayed at my house over the years!). I would love to meet Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin to ask them why they have not come clean to the public about their alien encounters on the way to and on the moon! Buzz admitted recently in a documentary that they were followed to the moon by strange objects and Neil devotes a whole chapter in his biography to UFO's! I would also like to meet Dr. Steven Greer who is a champion of the truth and in whose honour I have posted a copy of the Disclosure Project video below!

Very nice Gong pics, as if I didn't feel bad enough already. You got your camera ready for Southampton? I'll book my make over for early December. Botox next week and boob lift the week after. I've always fancied a boob lift
I know, I think I'm scarred for life! I've only been listening for about thirty years, they play not 20 miles away and I can't get there. Only time will heal me,
