Hi – thanks for visiting. I’m a Brisbane singer/songwriter and cabaret performer, with a love for theatricality and jazzy stuff..... some quotes about my music................
“… since 2001 you may have found her in places like the Press Club and the Powerhouse captivating audiences with her stunning jazz originals” (Time Off)
“On the album she moves easily between seductive and blue to a playful, almost cabaret, style” (The Courier Mail) “I wish you’d write happy songs…. Why don’t you write a song about going camping?” (my mum). I started out performing in Physical Theatre with Frank Theatre, then joined forces with the theatreACTIV8 team and created two dark cabaret shows: “Black Christmas” (2003) and “House-broken Hearts” (2002). In 2007/2008 I directed "Much Ado About Nothing" and "Metamorphoses" for The Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble. My cabaret shows have been performed at The Butterfly Club (Melbourne), The 2007 Brisbane Jazz Festival (Brisbane Powerhouse), Metro Arts and Caro Mio Cafe.
At the moment I'm writing some new material, and working on a cabaret about mental health entitled "Mind Games".
