In search of love … real, unconditional, genuine love. That’s the motivation behind Jon Almosara’s vocal and performing talents for Christ. When you hear the passion of his singing or the heart in his teaching, it’s the unconditional love of Christ in his life that is being expressed. Jon understands the longing of every person to be loved for who they are, and that understanding is the driving force behind his vocal talents. “I only find peace when I sing for God,” Jon said. That’s because his rich intellect and kind heart constantly keeps him stirred. He’s learned that it takes Christ to find peace in life’s longings. Jon grew up as a “pastor’s kid” and second to the youngest among six siblings. The first six years of his life was largely spent with his grandmother and “aunties” … “They would sing while cleaning the house,” says Jon, and that influence sparked his own interest in music. As a boy, he would grow up singing what he heard from television programs. By the time he reached high school, Jon began competing in singing competitions and has been singing since. Mixing contemporary Christian, mainstream alternative, and musical acting performances, Jon has displayed a breadth of talent that is increasingly in demand. Jon has harnessed those talents in his ministry as a solo performer, worship leader, and Youth Pastor to share with others the love that drives his own life. With love as the central theme of the vocal and teaching messages shared by Jon, it’s no wonder so many have been blessed by his ministry.
