Esto es por si llegara a tener algún día algún tipo de accidente, y necesitara ser llevado al hospital, para hacerles saber que tiene diabetes. De esta forma, ellos sabrían que medicamentos darle para que no perjudiquen su cuerpo por lo de las diabetes. Cuando ellos ingresan el código en el computador del hospital, ellos obtienen el historial medico de Nick. Todos los con diabéticos de tipo 1 tienen uno de esos, y es su elección llevarlos consigo o no. Nick empezó con una fundación llamada Change for the Children Foundation, la cual ayuda a niños que tienen diabetes al igual que él. Él es una inspiración para miles de niños con diabetes y otras enfermedades alrededor del mundo. Es por eso que decidió escribir A Little Bit Longer la cual es su canción favorita en el concierto. Nick ocupa un anillo de pureza, el cual simboliza su promesa de permanecer virgen asta el matrimonio!! Él anillo de Nick lleva la palabra ‘Poned’ grabada en el que significa ‘decepcionado’. Nick has type 1 diabetes (Diagnosed in 2005 while on tour) and he uses an OmniPod. -There is a code on the dog tag which identifies Nick. This is so that if he ever gets into any sort of accident, and needs to be taken to the hospital, they know that he has diabetes. This way, they know not to give him certain medications that can be harmful to his body because of diabetes. When they put the code into the computer at the hospital, they get Nick’s medical history. Everyone with type 1 diabetes gets one of these, and it is their choice whether they are going to wear it or not - Nick started a charity called Change for the Children Foundation, which helps kids with diabetes. He is an inspiration to thousands of kids with diabetes and diseases around the world So he decided to write A Little Bit Longer which is His favorite song to play in concert. Nick wears a purity ring, which symbolizes his promess to be a virgin until marriage!! Nick's purity ring has 'Poned' inscribed on it which means 'to be let down or disappointed' Once lost his purity ring and got a new one made at Disney World!!
