Hailing from Tulsa, OK, Jonas Adrian infuses the indie rock sound with a bluesy, post-rock flavor. Featuring heartfelt lyrics and intense rhythm, each song is a journey of experience, discovery, emotion and toil. This music is guaranteed to make your soul and feet move.
Jonas Adrian is a versatile songwriter who isn't fixated on genre. "Life is too short and music is too big." He beams a message from his guitar in a way no one else can. With a voice deep and rich, he sings with finesse and intensity.
Jonas met percussionist/electronic musician Bruce Rich (of Novachild) in 2005. It was a random encounter, but it was only a matter of time before the duo were jamming together.
Bruce, armed with hand drums, backing vocals and midi controllers, provides tribal rhythm and sonic texture. His experience with Jazz, Punk and World Beat injects a raw and versatile energy into the music.
The duo met Tim Casey (timcaseymusic.com), an intensely versatile guitarist, at a gig in late 2005.
Tim plays epic leads like they are butter melting in his hands. His guitar provides warmth, fist-punching melodies and smooth edges to envelop the sonic landscape.
After a series of gigs under the name "Jonas & The Infidels," the trio took time to explore other projects and record some tracks. Jonas and Tim produced "Until Normal," a 12-song LP, beginning late 2008. It was released in the summer of '09.
To celebrate the release, the band reunited under a different name, "Jonas Adrian's Elastic Apparatus." They recruited a versatile drummer - Jeron Stewart - to provide the backbone, the swing and groove. After a highly successful live performance the group acquired Jay Blakey on bass and have since settled under the name " The Living Machines". The group is currently booking for live shows into the fall/winter and wb site in the near future.

Hi everyone, check out my friends movement classes:
This is a call to all of those who have the courage to LET GO, (and are ready to have fun!)
Move the body, quiet the mind, and free the Spirit....An ecstatic movement experience..
This simple movement class combines Gabrielle Roth's "Sweat your Prayers", Qi Gong, guided meditation, and deep relaxation as a way back to your center; your moving center and the inspiration of the heart.
It is movement as medicine. Rooted in the innate wisdom of the body, natural flow of the breath, and pulsing rhythm inherent in all life.
It's an opportunity to let go of the mind and allow the body to be moved by rhythm, to disappear into the wave of sound, to offer your bones back to the dance, to offer your sweat as a prayer, and to gather in community to celebrate.
To dance this JOY of existence.
