Hello people. Thanks for coming to see our myspace page. Hope you like it. We've got a few tunes up there in the player. Stay a while and scroll through them if you have a few minutes. You might even like them...
So - you may be wondering who we are? Well, if you are, let me tell you. We're Jonas Hurst and Adrian Plunkett. We are also Francesca Pierce - she's the lovely cellist who plays with us. You can hear her fine work on some of the tracks here on this site.
We are singer-songwriter-type of people. We have a philosophy: to write songs about happy things, and about things that are funny. On the whole, anyway. Occasionally a sad song gets through the net. Or one that is a bit melancholy. But people seem to like them too, so everyone is happy again.
If you like what you hear, or you just want to know more, why not pop over to our website: http://www.jonasandplunkett.com and leave us a message?

You guys are fantastic! I was just on your website where one can listen to the music. My particular favorite is Charming. And to my complete surprise, you mentioned the girl from the US who wants to invite you to play at her wedding one day, to play that song. I don't know if you remember, but that was me. I was so surprised, like, "I'm that girl! That's me!" Haha. It brightened my day.
Anyways, thank you for sharing your music. I love the latest album. I'm never up to date >< God bless you guys! As soon as I find Mr. Right, you're still wanted for the event! =P
No more J&P playing live for a year...life will be a little more dull in that time. I wanted you to play "What have I done" tonight, but my little voice wasn't loud enough when people were calling requests. So, play it for me in 2009 yeah?! Find lots of songwriting inspiration in Australia, for the 4th album (!) See you both soon. x
So I'm sure I'll be getting married in a few years, and I have most certainly decided I want you guys to come sing at my reception. I want my first dance with my husband to be to the songs "It Was You" and "Charming"... Is that too much to ask you think? I mean it'd be some small low end gig compared to things you guys have probably done, but I'd REAALLLY really like that. ;-) It will most likely be in the states... but who knows, I could cross the sea and get married in London! Hey hey...
