one that has not only defined the way we listen to music, but the way we we feel it. Musician, Producer and Phoenix, Arizona native Jon Asher has capitalized during this “Musician Revolution”. From across the United States, Germany, United Kingdom, parts of Asia and Mexico, Jon’s revolutionary approach appeals to vast audiences young and old, both male and female alike. His vibrant sound has been compared to the likes of Depeche Mode, Justin Timberlake, Gavin Rossdale and The Dirty Vegas. Combining his distinctive electronic ancestry with the familiarity of modern pop music, Jon Asher has fashioned a groundbreaking genre of music just in time to provide a monotonous industry a taste of something unique.
Currently, while recording his self-written, self-composed and self-produced full-length album “Through Sound” (working title), Jon still finds time to effectively maintain his “self-proclaimed” empire. He has appeared in several on-screen productions such as the WB/CW television show “Hidden Palms” and recently wrapped the production of Universal Pictures’ new film “Kids In America” set to release in 2009. When he has a moment to breathe, he enjoys advertising his free-lance photography business to actors, actress’, musicians and models.
Jon has never been one to fall short from his dream. Hailing from a musical background, he began to explore his expansive love for music at age 4. After being a published winner of a national writing contest, It was then when he discovered his emotions were best expressed through creative writing. By age Thirteen, he was already studying the music business for countless hours and contacting A&R departments of many major record labels. At age 17, an impatient Jon Asher had decided to establish himself in what is now known as the “Independent musician revolution”, where artists produce, build and market their own sound and image. Now at 21, With a staggering 1.2 million plays under his belt,
Jon has successfully placed two of his songs, (Broken Remix and The Noise Inside my Head), on MTV’s Real World / Road Rules challenge, and has been launched into rotation throughout the Radio Station (Kiss Fm). He has appeared as a guest on Kiss Fm’s morning show John-jay and Rich where he premiered his first single “Broken Remix” live on air.
As a pioneer in Modern Music, Jon Asher will ultimately take his career to new heights and accomplish a superior set of goals and dreams. Jon has vowed to sustain a vigorous relationship with his fans through his words and music.
