My name is Jonas Kroon. I am a 28-year-old Scandinavian composer and producer.
With this project called "Imaginary Film Music", I aim to move back to where I started out almost ten years ago, creating movie-like soundscapes with a haunting, ethnic feel. I will make an attempt to mix the moods connected to ancient native beliefs, rituals and spirituality with that of modern times, civilization and high-tech culture.
It is an experiment as much as anything else. I won't take any commercial considerations in doing this, so my pieces will be as long, as instrumental and as assymmetrical as I wish.
Create a movie in your mind with this. Try and not think too much.

Your music, as usual, sounds teriffic!! How's the creative side of things been going? Hope you've had a great summer!
I just posted my film noir theme called "After Hours". Hehehe, it's a place where the men are dangerous and the women are DEADLY!!! It's a pretty dark and haunting theme. If you get the chance, please give it a listen and let me know what you think about it. I also posted my first vocal called "Caroline". It's my first attempt at singing, so hehehe, please be kind!
