Living now in Zurich, Switzerland. I enjoy seeing my old friends and playing with them again after three years in New York! Went to Paris last weekend - I love the trains here... Several projects are in the works, a Trio with guitar (David Potaux-Razel) and drums (tba). Also an avant-garde project with Bassoon (Sandra Weiss), Viola (Frantz Loriot), and more strings and maybe voice, for which I will be writing for and playing. Still writing my Big Band charts and working as a music copyist. Glad to be back, and at the same time missing New York, that's how it has to be, right?

Exciting fall coming up! Just started a composition class at Juilliard, where I will write a lot for strings. The first violin duet turned out to sound pretty hip. As soon as I have the recording, I'll post that too. Then I'm writing some a cappella choir stuff for choirs in Switzerland, and of course my quest for new Big Band music still goes on... Check out my upcoming gigs, there will always be brand new compositions played!

My piece for Big Band called "Find Your Way" just got selected for the BMI Annual Showcase Concert! The BMI/New York Jazz Composers Orchestra will perform it Wed. June 25th at 8:00pm at Merkin Concert Hall (129 W 67th Street NYC). FREE!
Two new Big Band charts just got recorded in July 2007: "Dance des Grenouilles" and "Reminiscent". Check them out in my player, if you like it, email me for the Score and Parts!

Yo buddy let us know when you got a gig comin up. Also I had a thought & it might be crazy but what if you opened up for us at someplace like Cafe 9 & think we could double bill a Jazz outfit plus a Rock N Roll outfit there. What do you think? Hope all is well. Speak atcha soon.
