Music, my family, gym, racketball & health, good friends & good times, constant individual growth, beach, sunshine, camping, dj'ing & pleasing large crowds, being active as much as my free time allows (IE: riding bikes at the beach, racketball w/friends, working out..etc)....

So, ok..i really don't have a FAVORITE, but to name some bands/groups/music that I like...i tend to favor Alternative & ALL Reggae...oh and of course electronica.......being a dj, it just kinda comes with the territory.
311 is one of my favs. Sublime(who doesn't like Sublime?). Live, Matchbox 20, Coldplay, Dave Matthews, Vertical Horizon. Older rock/random: PINK FLOYD. Yeah baby! Brings back the days!
Movies
NO favs once again. But a quick list-off:
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy was pretty damn bad-assed! *LOL* One that I could see again and again and not be bored of.
Star Wars, Matrix...these are all trilogies, sequels etc that I think are good.
Television
LOST & sports.

Honestly I don't read much. But Stephen King was my fav for quite awhile.

So, about me.
I am on this site, not only to help promote my dj'ing/music, but also to meet new people.
Well, a tidbit of me, my way of thinking, my view of life.
I am all about changes, & growth as an individual. It's an amazing feeling when you can actually grasp this concept. Being the best person you can. Being the most positive you can. Learning from every experience, good or bad & still coming out of it on top & use it positively. Affecting others surrounding you. This is what life & our society needs more of.
I'm in a growing stage of my life. Was kind of a late bloomer in this aspect if you ask me. If I were to have to name this chapter in the "Book of Jon", it would be named "Growth". I've learned that regardless of how much pain may come out of a rough experience, I(we) can still grow & learn from it. I very much believe that there is a reason for everything that happens to us in our lives. It's not always right there in front of us (in fact, hardly ever), but with open eyes, it'll show itself eventually. Not only with situations to each of us as individuals in life, but also w/relationships, friendships, romantically or otherwise. And with each experience we have the ability to become stronger as a person. Another advancement in life. :)
I'm not of a religion. But I have my own "religion" so-to-speak. The religion that I follow is, in short, Energy. In more detail, the religion I follow is to be the best person I can be, & affect as many that come into (& out of) my life, in a positive way. In turn, that will be paid forward. I'm very big on the laws of attraction & energy. It's around us 24/7. When i'm old, I want to be able to look back and feel that i've had a positive place in the world...in this concept we call life.
I'm a very down-to-earth person. I like to think that i'm a positive person and hope to affect people around me in that same way. If I feel like i've made someone smile each day, then i'm smiling as well. I try to learn from all my experiences, both negative and positive. I value my friends & family. I'm more of a "i love the world around me and care about earth we live on", as opposed to "F it, I don't care, let's go out with a bang" kinda of person I guess. Becoming more & more more conscious of the negative affects we have had on the the earth & environment, therefore trying more & more to do my part to not contribute to that.
My newest venture is joining a great team called A.R.R. (Animal Rescue Reserve). After finally completing the mandatory tranings & FEMA tests, the dedication has paid off. If you're interested in learning more, or even maybe becoming involved, check this link out;

BUT, this doesn't mean I will add every musician or hot-ass super model that sends me a request. I try to keep the limit to my local area to support our scene here in San Diego more, and maybe some other random's that I like the music of, or have been cool. I really don't want my page just to become a huge advertising spot for everyone.
