A performing musician for the past 26 years, Jonathan honed his talents, performing with a variety of talented singers in bands and duos. These collaborations seasoned him as a performer and former partners and band mates came to rely on his innate musicianship. In 2003 Jonathan ventured out on his own, doing his own material, in his own style. He has performed at some of the areas top listening venues, including, The Tin Angel, Godfrey Daniels, The Point, The Sellersville Theater, The Zoellner Arts Center, Steel City Coffeehouse, Mauch Chunk Opera House,
Bodles Opera House, Odette's, The Adrienne Theater and for Philadelphia area benefits. In addition he has performed live and been featured on WXPN, WVIA, and WDIY. A Long Day Gone, produced by Grammy Award winning producer and engineer, Glenn Barratt from Morning Star Studios, is Jonathans first solo CD. While he and Glenn have know each other for many, many years and have done quite a few projects together, this was the first time they have collaborated on Jonathans solo material. It was a great experience, Jonathan recalls. Ive always had the greatest respect for Glenn and to have him work his magic on my material was exhilarating! Songs from this collection quickly earned him a finalist seat in The Plowshares National Songwriter contest and continue to garner interest among his peers. Another song "Lorena", recorded for his sister Helen's CD, "When the Galop was The Rage" (www.helenbeedle.com) was used in the final episode of last seasons HBO series, "Big Love" www.cdbaby.com/cd/jonathanbeedle
