  • Bio

Jonathan Dunn began writing and performing music while attending Belmont University. His self -titled debut album, released in 2004, solidified Jonathan as a serious and talented local artist. The mix of acoustic and full band sound explored on this album is still present in Jonathan’s live shows. The experience of seeing this artist live will leave you wanting more. With a looping pedal system he layers beats that he makes on his acoustic guitar with vocals and harmonies to create a unique interactive live show unlike any other. His recently released second independent album, “A Heart Like This,” is a compelling offering, as subtle as it is obvious, as secretive as it is revealing. With a modest 13 tracks, its clean restrained sound is an immensely emotional glimpse into the heart of a growing artist. The personal nature of these songs is really what makes this collection so powerful. Like all albums that are relevant years after you first discover them, “A Heart Like This” has a vulnerability and truth that will keep you coming back to it. The elements that will stay with you are those of incredible loss and perpetual hope, the unearthing of God and the bewilderment of one’s faith, and the exploration of the messy endeavors that are falling in love and growing up. “A Heart Like This” will convince your belief in the undiscovered. It will renew your broken faith. It will allow you to consider the possibility that someone out there knows exactly how you feel. And for now, for maybe just a moment more, it will be our little secret. .. .... whateverlife.com.... .. .. ...... ........ .. .. .. .. .. ..   ..My Comment Box.... .. .. .. .. ....Leave me a comment:....Instead of clicking on "Add Comment" link on the bottom, just use the box below to write me a comment......... ...................... .. .... ....View/Edit All All of My Comments...... ....................
