Cosmic American Music, Damien Rice on steroids, screaming angels, and guitars being taken advantage of.
Born in Modesto, CA as the youngest of 5 children to an English teacher and Physician, I was raised mostly in Atlanta, Georgia. I've been singing since the age of 4 when my mother put me up on stage at church one day. I've been writing songs about life, the blues, and love for about 5 years now. I've taken what sojourners in the music world have put forth and tried to develop my own sound. Now accompanied by some really good friends who happen to be excellent musicians, The Couriers are my band. We've been working on a new EP which should be available in time for Christmas! So stay tuned!
Life is too short to play bad music! :) Your songs are great and your music, also, (very nice guitar work), but the voice is just beautiful! I sure am glad I got to hear it! The tape of your performance of Sunshine in Gruen (?) Texas is phenomenal. Thanks for adding me and for all the great music.
naw. "Little Flush" was recorded live at sit-n-spin one afternoon, and the chitlin's was recorded in the jaywalker's garage using a tascam DR1 field recorder. we'll have some new tunes up pretty soon though!
