| About jonasaurus |
Singer/songwriter/producer born and raised in and around AtlANTA. Has played in bands Lonn and Go, Mordecai!. Currently resides in midtown AtlANTA.
Looking for people to start a new band - any and all may apply. Must be in/around ANTA area.
Want to do something with the feel of:
Radiohead
Arcade Fire
with some Modest Mouse, Wilco, Silversun Pickups, Prefuse 73, Sunny Day Real Estate, and Pink Floyd in there.
and maybe a little hip-hop or metal or something thrown in for good measure.
I'm open to suggestions and want fellow songwriters that can lead and also take direction. I want to have a more or less consistant "sound", but retain some pop sensibility. No meter changes every 3 bars. At least not every song...I dunno.
Looking for percussionist, guitarist(s), bassist, keys/synths/samplers/yadayadayada, DJs, cellists, mandolin...ers?, uhm-you get the idea. Pretty much anything. Vocalists, especially female, also iwanted.
I'm VERY low on gear at the moment, I've only got an electric guitar with no amp, and a steel-top resonator acoustic, as well a mic, maybe two, a broken PA with no speaker, and a tambourine ;)
I wont have a rehearsal space for a few months either.
I know this is all pretty pretentious and rediculous sounding, but it is what it is. I'm serious. If anyone's interested PM me or email jontlewis@gmail.com
