About Jonathan Mays (NEW Cover of the Jonas Brothers!)

As you probably figured, my name is Jonathan, I am a French guy and I have a passion : music. I always loved singing, it's the one thing that makes me forget all the others. When I'm singing, nothing else matters anymore and I'm just living the song.
Recently I realized that singing other people's songs wasn't enough, I needed to be able to create my own songs. So I decided to learn guitar, even if I'm 19, because I'm convinced that it's never too late to do something you really want to do.
I started taking lessons 8 months ago. As soon as I hold my guitar in my hands, I knew that I would do my best to be able to play and so I did. I was eager to learn and although there was a lot of frustration in the beginning, I tried again and again until I could do what I wanted to do. The first song I've been able to play is "Wreck of the Day" by Anna Nalick, one of my favorite songs ever, by my favorite singer.
Of course I'm just a beginner. I can't play all the songs I'd like to play and I can't always play them like I'd like to. But it's still a privilege for me to be able to sing and play at the same time. There is nothing like it.
Then I decided that it was time for me to create my Myspace Music profile because it's very important for me to know what people think about my music. People who listen to my music, who comment ... they are my most precious reward.
My aim is to share my passion of music and to get all the people I can to listen to my music and to give me their opinion about it. They make me stronger and they make me believe in my dream.

The turkey shot out of the oven and rocketed into the air, it knocked every plate off the table and partly demolished a chair.
It ricocheted into a corner and burst with a deafening boom, then splattered all over the kitchen, completely obscuring the room.
It stuck to the walls and the windows, it totally coated the floor, there was turkey attached to the ceiling, where there'd never been turkey before.
It blanketed every appliance, it smeared every saucer and bowl, there wasn't a way I could stop it, that turkey was out of control.
I scraped and I scrubbed with displeasure, and thought with chagrin as I mopped, that I'd never again stuff a turkey with popcorn that hadn't been popped.

Actually.....I wrote that song with Johnny and JASON WALKER!! Haha that's prob why ya love it so much!!! Jonathan! My friend! It's so good to hear from you! It's funny, I haven't really been on myspace in almost 2 months..so I'm kind of in the same boat! I've had some health problems lately (a knee surgery gone bad, and complications from my wisdom teeth surgery), so I've been pretty out of it. I had to cancel my shows, and stop booking altogether! It kind of sucks. I'm still on crutches and in a hefty leg brace, but once I'm off those I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things. These past weeks have been rather rough..I JUST went back to work this week! Finally. How are you? Still writing! I'm so glad you decided to come back to myspace, you're good at what you do. Any potential performances for you in your area in the near future? Anything new happening? Give me details!

Hey Jonathan, Désolé je n'ai pas répondu à votre lettre tout de suite son juste que j'ai été très occupé avec mes devoirs tous les week-end.Anyways ouais, j'ai vu votre nouvelle version de la chanson "A little bit longer" sur youtube et je pense que tu chantes très bien.Oh et j'ai pris français pendant deux ans, mais mon français est si mauvais, car j'ai oublié beaucoup de mots français.

Hey thanks for the wonderful message . I appreciate it. I did check out your cover and its really good. I'm very impressed. Have you talked to any music producers? If you haven't you should definately check it out. My cousin is in the music industry. He works with an amazing producer. He's worked with many artist before. So yea you should definately try to find a producer quickly as possible. I also sing so I'm working on it also. Need to start recording an everything.
You have a great voice! That is great harmony in Wreck of the Day! If you sound that good acoustic, imagine what you could do with a band! This is exactly how Colbie Caillat started out and look at her now!
