Sounds Like
We all steal from Bach and The Beatles. Beyond that it's just details. That's pretty pretentious though, i know. I'm sorry. What comes out of that in my situation is some bastard love child between like Slash, Paul McCartney, and John Williams. That must have been a wild fuckin night.
I've been playing instruments and writing music since I was 5 years old. I moved to LA from Highland Park, Illinois to study classical and jazz music at USC. While I was there I worked in studios and learned how to make records. After I graduated I began scoring movies, making records and writing songs for really cool artists, which eventually lead me to meet my band, Thenewno2. Currently we're supporting our debut record entitled "You Are Here" that Dhani Harrison and Oli Hecks made prior to my joining the band...it's a beautiful collection of songs in which I find great joy playing. Recently I've written songs for/ played with/ produced artists like Bryan Scary & The Shredding Tears, The Street Drum Corps, The Outline, The Filthy Souls, Kelly Sweet, The Hatch, Kandice and Taryn Manning. I've also scored movies for really cool actors/directors like James Franco, Michael Keaton, Abram Makowka and Max Winkler. I enjoy creating random sideprojects...some turn out to be real, some are totally fake.-------------------You can catch Thenewno2 touring North America this Fall with Wolfmother and The Heartless Bastards...More updates to come, and until then, have a nice one.
