| About Jonathan Sielaff |
Jonathan Sielaff is a musician living in Portland, Oregon.
He plays as many instruments as he can find the time to learn, but focuses primarily on the clarinets and guitar.
As an improviser, he has played with hundreds of wonderful folks from all over the globe.
In Portland, he regularly participates in recordings and concerts with song-writers, bands and new-music ensembles.
His primary collaborations are a quartet with Tyler Wilcox (sap sax) Kelivin Pittman (tenor sax) and Bob Jones (bass), a trio with Seattle pianist gust burns and Austin percussionist Chris Cogburn, the group Au (Au Website) with Luke Wyland and many others, the duo Borborygmus with David Hirvonen and regular collaborations with guitarist John Paul Jenkins.
He also enjoys working with dancers, poets and film-makers.
