About Jonathan Taylor - Singer, Songwriter & Broadcaster
Buy Now JONATHAN TAYLOR: Debut - The Collection. All proceeds in aid of the BSAPP emergency appeal.

Jonathan Taylor is the Great Grandson of soprano singer and early recording pioneer Rebecca Johnson (nee Reece), Grandson of Ivy (nee Johnson) Usher (a play anything by ear Pianist) and a Cousin of Robert (Bob) Johnson - Steeleye Span. My first band ‘Peach’ 'he says, (Abergavenny) worked without drums but added Saxophone for depth.' ‘Up here (Halifax), I formed the original line up of ‘Waving Not Drowning’ with Anna (got some good press and released an independent 12") and afterwards formed ‘The Atom Arc Landslide’ with David. Then John and I, as ‘Cali’, worked on some traditional South American stuff too.’ He now travels and works solo. 'It's so much easier' he laughs!

Jonathan has three 'Solo albums' under his belt and a fourth 'live album' which he guarantees is overdub free! He has appeared on both Independent Television and BBC Radio. His youth-work CV has included work with Toyah Wilcox (Courtesy of BBC Manchester.) Additionally, Debut - The Collection ( A best off from the first 3 albums) is sold to raise money for the BSAPP, Bulgaria. Please follow the band link to CD Baby and i-tunes (Our USA world-wide-distributors) and consider a purchase to help the emergency appeal. All proceeds (Every penny he earns from this ) will go directly to the charity.

Jonathan Taylor, singer / songwriter and broadcaster will be found presenting various special interest and speeched based programmes on Drystone Radio 87.7 FM (across the Yorkshire Dales) and Phoenix Radio 96.7 FM (throughout Calderdale.) Future challenges will also see the launch of a brand new web based station, Radio Great Britain (for 'ex-pat' communties across the globe) very soon.

Hi Jonathan! Good to hear from you. We had such an excellent time at Luddenden. What a wet, wonderful weekend! Been listening to your CD since we've been back. You have some great songs on it. We're hoping to speak to the Trades Club in the next couple of days to talk about the structure of the evening. Really looking forward to our return visit in November. We'll keep in touch and let you know what's happening.

Hi JT, holding steady here in Florida:) Hope you are enjoying something beautiful today, love, food, flowers, life:) I have been a bit mad since my granddaughter squeezed out my lovely perfumed creme onto the floor and sad my Dad passed away last month, but life is going on in spite of death and empty tubes of creme:) Hugs to you and your sweetie, Melinda
