(C) Coded Illusions, www.coded-illusions.com - Composed by Jonathan vd Wijngaarden (www.musicbyjonathan.com), performed by the Dutch Metropole Orchestra.
Orchestrated by Tom Trapp, conducted by Laura Karpman.
Who I'd like to meet: Game and Movie composers I admire a lot for their work and creative visions.
hi johnathan, sounds great! thanks for dropping in, come by again in the future i change the tunes (& styles) often. you can also check out my scoring/commercial work @ www. soundmusic. ca
in the meantime please check out and vote for my orchestral remix of "Nude" from the new Radiohead record! peace - steve :)
Yes it's insane! I've been on crunch since November, working Christmas Day and all sorts!! Having to do 3-4 minutes a day fully orchestrated and mixed so start work at 6am an go through til around 1 or 2 am, sleep, then do the same the next day! Crazy! No days off til March! Hope things are good with you.
First of all we added a new song to our website. It's Delta High Score by Rob Hubbard. Check out this great tune.
We are also very happy to present a first and sneak preview of the cd cover, which will be released later this year. This deluxe release of the C64 orchestra is designed by Hotel.
This deluxe version will be a limited edition, so pre order the cd now by sending us a message at our myspace.
Wanted to wish you a successful new year now in 2007.
And, in case you didn't get the event invite, I wanted to take the chance to proudly announce that Music in Chronological Order is now available at CD Baby AND iTunes! Just click the linked text in this paragraph: CD Baby or iTunes.
Yo Jonathan! Good seeing you at the VGL London gig. BTW, I took the wrong bus after the show, and ended up in some dodgy area at about 2am not knowing if any more busses were coming. Whoops!
HA, yeah doing the family thing for Thanksgiving was a good time. VGL would of been a lot more fun! Been busy with Game Music Radio and the band I'm in, Mankind Is Obsolete.
Hey there. Yep I'm good thanks. You? I've been keeping very busy at work and at university but should be free on november 25th. E-mail me the details or something. Will be good to see you again!
Think I'll text you too - it's more personal and I have lots of free texts this month :)
Ah, I didn't mean to suggest I wanted your help on the mod, but if you could do anything, that would be great! C&C doesn't come out till next year anyway I believe.
Frank's music added that special something to the games, and without him, I don't know if they can recreate the same atmosphere and feeling as the old games.
Ah, I think you can post comments now, but the conventional way. I'm fine thanks, just got in from work.
What projects are you working on at the moment? I'm thinking of launching a Dune (maybe based on Emperor: Battle for Dune) mod for C&C3. I know it wont be out for a long time, but I figured its best to start early.
So you're Frank's apprentice? Wow, cool. Its a shame he's not involved in the C&C series anymore.
Hey, don't you have you're own website, which was always "under construction"...? Also, were you the guy that was going to make music for the "Crimson Dawn" mod for C&C Generals?
Things are good. Just finished up with a bunch of E3-related work and I'm getting ready now to take a week long vacation in Hawaii. Can't complain. : )
