| About Jon Bauer |
Worship is more than a song – it's a lifestyle. A life of worship allows others to see Jesus in all that you do – in your work, in your words and your world. From the mountain-top times of leading worship to the more mundane actions like shovelling the snow filled walk, Jon strives to present these real-life moments as acts of worship unto the Lord. Jon is a full-time touring worship leader/recording artist, but maintains the importance of being home based in a church family. Jon leads worship monthly at his home church near Edmonton, Alberta where he is the Worship Arts Associate. The other 3 weeks of the month Jon and his band tour throughout Canada and the US ministering at churches,conferences, and schools ministering to all age groups.

~Jon recently was awarded with the 2007 SHAI AWARD (Canada’s Gospel Music People’s Choice Awards) for “2007 New Artist of the Year”!
~2006 Covenant Award Nominee for “Worship Album of the Year”, and “Male Vocalist of the Year”.
~2005 Covenant Award Nominee for “Song of the Year” for his song entitled "Promise" (For I Know).
~2005 Covenant Award Nominee for Male Vocalist of the Year and Praise and Worship Album of the Year.
~Has shared the stage with some Christian great Artists including “Brian Doerksen”, “Carolyn Arrends”, “Greg Sczebel”, and award winning authors and speakers “Mark Buchanan”, “Phil Callaway”.
~Performed two times on "The Miracle Channel" based in Lethbridge, AB; broadcast to over 100 countries around the globe!
~Performing LIVE on Canada's nationally broadcast "100 Huntley Street" based in Burlington, ON. Watch for Jon Thursday May 24th/2007.
~Two of Jon’s songs “Life of Worship” and “Your Amazing Grace” were selected among thousands of submissions to be a part of CMCs Sea to Sea compilation discs which are the best Canadian Worship songs for two years in a row. Available in Canada now!
~3/4 of Jon’s schedule is spent Touring and ministering throughout the World; with over 100 performances in 2006 including leading worship at churches, conferences, schools, and retreats.
~Jon is the part-time Worship Arts Associate at St. Albert Alliance Church - (www.staalliance.org). JonpPreviously served as Worship Leader/Worship Director at Spruce Grove Alliance Church (www.sgac.net) from June 1995 until June 2005.
~One of Canada’s top 3 World Vision Artist Associates Jon continues to be a part of seeing hundreds of children sponsored at his concerts/events.
~Graduated from North American Baptist College (now Taylor University) in Edmonton, AB and then went on to graduate from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Bachelor of Education.
~Jon’s second album entitled “Surround” is set to release May 2007.
