I've got 22 years of trickiness and creativity under my belt. And... according to a questionnaire which I took while sitting in a class I didn't belong in, I have a 75% social desirability. Maybe I should focus my educational aspirations on a psych major so I can sit around all day and answer true / false tests to find out how desirable I am?
What's there to say? Stuck between a rock and a hard place. Literally. I'm that back country hiker who didn't bother to heed the warning signs that read Park Closed: Hungry Wild Ass-Bears Seen Mauling Hikers. I went ahead and ignored the signs, ran into a beastly bear, fell into a Batman lair-like cave as I tried to outrun the bastard, and got myself wedged between hell and a giant boulder. So I have a little extra baggage I have to carry around. The emotional kind. Who doesn't have any of that? The question is where's the lost & found when you need it?
I want to meet someone to pick the bones out of my fish. I hate getting pricked by those damn things during dinner. I also want to meet someone who can tell the difference between Haribo and Black Forest gummi bears based on taste alone. They're not the same dammit!
Sometimes what you're looking for is staring right back at you.
Smile.

I'm never content with whatever I'm working on. Aesthetically, anything I tweak is a direct reflection of my personality and tastes. Born and raised on the south side of Richmond, Virginia, Jonathan Bibbs (better known as Jon Bibbs) is a singer, songwriter, producer and musician who is making quite a name for himself in the independent music world.
Jon’s musical odyssey began at the tender age of two years old, when his mother, (a Baptist preacher and pastor) enrolled him in piano classes at Virginia Commonwealth University. By age 12, Jon was being heralded as a “musical prodigy,” playing engagements with the Richmond Philharmonic Orchestra and playing all of the major stages in the Richmond metro area.
Jon enrolled at Hampton University in 1999. While at the university, Jon discovered his vocal abilities at late night recording sessions with dorm-mates and music engineering students. Before long, the secret was out.... Jon could REALLY sing! Once again, Jon became a local sensation; this time in Hampton Roads.
In 2001, Jon released his first recording project “True Story”. The CD took off in the local market, and began to turn heads of musical taste makers throughout the eastern region of the U.S. His follow up project “Red: The Color of Love” proved to be a major breakthrough for Jon, garnering him national attention and putting him in high demand throughout the east. The release of his last project, “Unbreakable” (2005) solidified his place in the underground soul music world.
Since his entry in the music industry, Jon has recorded and performed along-side some of the music industry’s best producers, musicians and performers including: Roy Ayers, Kardi’nal Official, Conya Doss, Morris Day & the Time, Kris Haskins, Bilal, Busta Rhymes, John Legend, Anthony David, Mike Philips, Raheem DeVaughn, Sleepy Brown, Stick Man (of Dead Prez), Chuck Brown, Ledisi, Donnie, Jaguar Wright, Jean Grae and Nottz Raw and many more.
In August 08', Kyte TV took notice of the buzz and approached Jon with a partnership deal. Fans will follow and interact with Jon during his recording sessions, rehearsals, while on tour and his journey as an independent musician to mainstream success.
Thanks to the massive following, Jon understands that his success comes from the support of his fans, peers in the industry and the ability to provide an experience of showmanship like the pioneers that paved the way... as pure gratitude. Currently touring & working in the studio on his much anticipated album for 2009, Jon is no longer considered underground nor confined to the label as a "Soul" artist .. but a LIVE PHENOMENON.

Hey there, Here's one from left field... Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat? A while back I came across some very disturbing information, which inspired me to make this video: Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4 Both artistic (ensure you've good enough sound to enjoy the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice. Though the source materials are somewhat aged, the fundamentals remain relevant today. I encourage all to visit the YouTube web page above to learn more (Show your support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly re-post and circulate as widely as possible. Help to raise awareness. Say have you checked out my web site (http://www.faberoptime.com) recently? Take care and keep in touch. Best, Faber. "Just a guy trying to make the world a better place."
Greetings…!
