The current incarnation of Jon Bonham & Friends took root in the final months of Fredericks Music Lounge. After a set at one of the legendary Noiseday Hootenannys, Fred asked Jon & Co. to step in as the Monday night house band. At the time, guitarist Andy Cramer was preparing to leave for Haiti and as a result Joe & Jon played the first few Mondays as a guitar/drum duo.
One night, Hootenanny host and jazz guitarist, Tommy Halloran sat in on lead guitar and an immediate bond was formed between the three. From that point on Tommy has taken the role of permanent gunslinger, blistering solos and adding understated texture to the groups sound.
Playing a mix of original, traditional, and cover songs that look inside the American experience, past, present, and future, a Jon Bonham & Friends show takes you on a trip through the backwaters of the Mississippi River, over the Ozark hills, and back to St. Louie before the night is through.

This is going to be a great night. The show starts at 5:00. We'll go on later around 7:00 maybe. We won't know until the show date exactly what order the bands will play. There will be a lot of great bands to see and we'll be there too. Tell the door guy at the Fubar that you are there at our invitation (or we don't get credit for bringing friends which is the name of the game)...
We continue to book shows. The next event will be fun and crazy stuff at Broadway Bistro Zoo on September 12th. Fun and sexy adult entertainment. More info to follow shortly.
