"Welcome along to the new MySpace profile for "Duetto" consisting of
acclaimed Opera star and Recording Artist Jon Christos and rising star
Jenny Williams. They first met when Jenny was also signed to record
label Roots Music Group and since then Jon has tutored and mentored
Jenny throughout her development in their labels Academy.
Their first high profile performance together came at The Manchester
Prom Concert at Hyde Park in front of thousands with The Manchester
Camerata Orchestra, which due to their success they have since been in
demand all over the country at a variety of events consisting of
performances at Twickenham, The New Wembley Stadium, charity events
for Manchester City FC, Stockport County FC as well as many private
corporate events. The only current Classical Crossover duet around,
Duetto perform a wide range of repertoire consisting of famous Opera,
Neapolitan Songs, Songs from the Movies, Songs from the Musicals as
well as well known Crossover material as you can hear from the music
available on our profile, either accompanied by Orchestra, or with
full Orchestral backing tracks via PA.
After the success of Jon's debut album "Northern Light" in 2006, his
much anticipated solo follow up album "Artist" is due for release
later this year, and work on A&R has already begun on Jenny's debut
album, with plans for a Duetto album soon to follow. We hope you enjoy

If Duetto would ever choose to sing a Spanish ballad, could I please ask that you consider "Somos Novios" (Mexican composer Armando Manzanero)? Just thinking about those powerful voices singing it makes me quiver.
