if I had gone to GIT in the early 80's and then joined Racer X and then Mr. Big and was huge in Japan and then released several awesome solo albums I might sound like Paul Gilbert.

If I were in charge of things, I would make it mandatory for all school children to listen to every Beatles song 10 times by the time they were 6 yrs. old. I would also make it mandatory for all school children to listen to every Roth-era Van Halen song 25 times by the time they were 12....and Radiohead Ok Computer, and all Yes between 70 and 77, and Stevie Wonder Songs in the Key of Life, and Jimi Hendrix Electric Ladyland, and Metallica Master of Puppets, and Miles Davis In a Silent Way, and Mike Keneally Dancing, and Led Zeppellin Physical Graffiti, and Paul Gilbert Burning Organ prior to graduation.
