Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to read up about me. I'm a songwriter who's been writing for over twenty years for the Independent market and has had many placements. I write songs that mean something, say something or make you feel something -- uptempo or ballad.
I play guitar and love to come up withfun and fresh melodies but take great pleasure in constructing lyrics that say something cool and fresh. I co-write in person, on the internet, via Skype, phone, you name it! It's all good as long as we write a great song!
When we deem a song worthy, I demo it in a top Nashville studio using A+ session musicians and top notch demo singers.
I'm a member of BMI and Perry Howard is my rep. I'm also a member of NSAI, TAXI & SONGU.COM. NSAI has opened more doors for me than I can mention. The education and support it has provided is beyond explanation.
I don't ever write for the money but the dream is to get cuts. That would be the ultimate redemption for all the time and work I put into crafting the best possible songs. The biggest frustration is trying to answer the same questions from those who don;t understand why we songwriters do what we do and continually ask "Did you sell any songs??"
I should also mention that I write EVERY SINGLE DAY.
The past year has been a great one. Several of my songs have been placed and a few are on hold. My holiday song, A CHRISTMAS KISS, was selected top 10 of the year by NSAI & will be on their holiday CD given to publishers at their annual lunch this holiday season.
On the personal side, I've been happily married for over twenty years to my high school sweetheart and we have three great kids and a bichon' poo.
