JONDOE AND THE FUCKUPS:-
Formed spring 2006 from the ashes of school yard brawl and the gonnareas, jondoe and the fuckups a three piece streetpunk band from Birkenhead consisting of Jon:- guitar/vocals, Gresty:-bass/vocals, and daz:- drums/vocals. Jondoe started playing gigs early september 06.
After only their second gig, at a local rock club, "the hotel california", headlining act Boredom A.D. asked jondoe to support them the following night in their home town of Blackburn.
2006 turned out to be a good year with jondoe sharing the stage with uk punk bands such as stuntface, Boredom A.D., 3cr and one man down.
January 2007, starting the year off, Jondoe decided to record their first e.p., "punk is ded cuz we jus killed it"
After recording, Jondoe realised there was something missing. A second guitarist. After asking around, a friend put jondoe onto Burney, (her boyfriend at the time). So Burney came to a practise, and fitted the bill.
Jondoe started making a name for themselves in 2007, sharing the stage with bands such as 3 minuete warning, instant agony, the vibrators, eddie and the hotrods and the dead end boys, just to name a few, and being offered to play festivals such as the dirty weekend and concrete jungle festival. As well playing Birkenfest, dryfest and Nozfest. 2007 also seen jondoe being signed to london based ska/punk label party house records, and M.I. records.
with 2007 drawing to a close, jondoe are set to record their first full length album. With two uk tours being booked, and a long awaited live album/ dvd "bladdered in Birkenhead" set to be released september 08. Jondoe are going from strength to strength, who knows what lies ahead.
