Oh dear, this is difficult to narrow down. I like so much. Tori Amos, Wicked the Musical soundtrack, Nickelback, Wolgemut, Celtic (traditional & modern), Mediaeval Baebes, Loreena McKennitt, They Might Be Giants, Jewel, Alanis Morrisette, Pink Floyd, lots of variety (pretty much anything) with very little rap or country. And, yes, there is Bette Midler in my collection...Movies
STAR WARS TRIOLOGIES! Harry Potter (although the books are much better), Lord of the Rings triology, Shrek, Breakfast Club, Moulin Rouge, Annie (the older version), Princess Bride, Shakespeare in Love. Otherwise, depends on my mood. I hate serial killer movies, though. And nothing with human torture or a lot of blood and gore. And I do like 007 movies.Television
Life (NBC), Iron Chef America, Good Eats, Law& Order: Criminal Intent (Detective Goren, you can interrogate me anytime!), Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Colbert Report.
Books
Harry Potter, Most of Anne Rice's stuff. Twilight saga. I've read a lot of Star Wars books with plots set after the movies. I like some vampire novels, but it's the same as with movies, it depends on my mood at the time I choose the book.
Heroes
Our present soldiers, fighting an unwinnable war. Our past soldiers, giving and risking their lives and livelihoods for our freedoms, which we are in danger of losing. The firefighter and police officers who put their lives on the line every day to protect us, especially those who marched into the Twin Towers on that unforgettable day that united our country in tragedy.
