J_O_N__G_E_N The Man Behind the Music
Biography
My Stage Name is Jon Gen. I am a singer / songwriter /performer based in the blue water area. but you can find me performing acoustic music all around Michigan and Ohio. When asked what my music influences would be I would have to say a cross between counting crows and jimmy buffett.
While I enjoy writing music, performing and entertaining are my passion. At the end of the year I scale back the performances, but I am currently booking for 2009 in Michigan, Ohio, Florida, Canada, Connecticut, Oklahoma and all points between.
When I am not performing or otherwise living music, I enjoy bowling, kayaking, and camping. I enjoy reading and learning about world history. I graduated from Michigan State and Case Western. Anything else you want to know about me, well will just have to get to know me I guess. : )
If you haven't seen me yet; hope to see you soon! Make sure you say hi at a performance or a loud pirate's ARRRRR, and don't forget to join my email list when you're there!
