From as young as he can remember, Jon wanted to be a singer, inspired by the music of Paul Weller, Tom Petty, James Taylor and Bryan Adams. Jon began his musical journey at the Leeds Academy in 1996 and developed his vocal skills, style and range within a creatively inspiring collective of fellow musicians including Shelly Poole (from chart topping band Alicia’s Attic).
Gushing feedback on early demo's from online music enthusiasts led Jon to pursue his childhood dream and now Jon is close to completing his debut album, working with UK-based production outfit, The Snowflakers (Christina Aquilera, Leona Lewis, Lemar), legendary songwriter Russ Ballard (Rainbow, Kiss, Roger Daltrey,Ozzy Osborne) and renowned Nashville engineer Chad Hailey (Neil Young, Sheryl Crow).
The result is an outstanding record of timeless classics that show Jon is as comfortable performing big rock hits and Americana music as he is hertfelt and deeply emotive ballads - a definite future star in the making!
