About Jon HAstings
Jon picked up his first pair of drum sticks at age 9 and hasn't really put them down since. For the past fourteen years, Jon has poured his life into music, drumming, songwriting, composing and leading bands, in styles that range from hip-hop and funk, to broadway and classical. He began playing professionally at age 15 and has more than 50 studio projects to his credit, including several original CD’s. In 2006, Jon graduated from Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA where he currently works playing live gigs and doing studio work. In 2007 he traveled nationally with Sony Epic recording artist, Ronnie Day. He has also worked with The Send (Tooth and Nail Records), Cheyenne Kimball (Capital Records), Valente Berteli (Italian opera singer), and Jon Beal (Producer/Independent artist). He has preformed on the MTV U Campus Invasion 2007. Currently Jon is the drummer for Glare of Rockets, a Los Angeles-based Indie-Rock band. In his in other life, Jon owns and opperates www.PaperSubmarine.com, a graphic design and photography studio catering to the needs of musicians in the performing industry.
