BIO
Joni is singer/songwriter, a member of the praise team and choir at her home church, Huntsville First Church of the Nazarene and a former member of Joni and Diane, an award-winning duet ministry, for about four years. She does concerts, special music, block parties, and other singing events and has sung the National Anthem at several sporting events including the Huntsville Stars and a national Flat Track event in FL for Daytona Bike Week.Now she feels it's time to be a part of a live band and work together as a team with Christ, to touch people's hearts and get the message of Jesus Christ, His forgiveness, grace, mercy, and healing out to those Jesus loves so much He gave His life to save them for eternity!!!

God is leading me on a new path and though I love the songs He has given me to this point and do intend to still use them when I can, He is leading me more in the track of praise and worship music along the lines of CFNI, Kari Jobe, Lincoln Brewster, Chris Tomlin, Hillsong, etc.
My songs you hear on here deal with situations and emotions that I have dealt with, like lots of us have; severe depression (brought on by both chemical imbalance and also because of grief), divorce, being a single/working parent, loneliness, overwhelming emotions, self-injury, fighting suicidal thoughts, and also the pain brought on by the deaths of loved ones. In 2004, my ex-husband, my oldest son's father, died of Leukemia, he was still a very dear friend of mine along with his wife Beth. Two months later, my brother-in-law died in a car accident, and in 2005, my dad passed away from complications brought on by Alzheimer's. Nobody, not even God, said life would be easy, but He did say He would never leave or forsake me, or you! God is bigger than anything we could ever face and I know he has always given me the love, strength, comfort, grace, and if needed; forgiveness, to get through every situation. So, some of my songs are about that too, God's love, mercy, forgiveness and healing. They are songs of praise and thankfulness.
I want to ride in the twinkle that sparks from the light of your eye when your gaze catches my reflection at just the right time. I want to dance on the air in the giggle that escapes your lips, embracing this precious life that never quits. I want to live in the tear that rolls down your cheek so I will always know what hurts this heart I keep. And then I’ll be the hand that wipes the tear away, that holds your head up high through another day. I want to glide on the wind from a whisper to your ear… this beautiful soul that holds me without judgment or fear.
I search for silent screams in a world of madness and craze, teardrops bleeding inward, hidden in this maze. I search through fields of masks, new faces everyday, in hopes of finding that lonely heart hiding in their pain. I love to dance, I love to laugh, and happiness is my friend, but broken spirits I seek out so I can mourn with them. We all love living colors, but sometimes our shades are blue. So if you are hurting inside today I hope that I find you. Beauty from a smile is only skin deep. It’s the heartbeat of my friend that I intend to keep.

I am starting a photography course ...I am waiting for my books and then I start it so I will be able to get my degree in photography and then I am opening a studio...I am VERRRRRY excited! My pics that I have posted on my profile...they are MY work...yep, I took them myself :D The boys and I have SUCH fun, sometimes we just sit and play with the camera and get some cute ones or wayyyyy silly ones...but I LOVE candid shots much more than the posed ones...they capture the true essence of someones personality.
