Love the progression, your typical 80’s metal ballad :) I felt that the vocals needed to be a little more lively through out the whole song. The guitar solo was sweet! Also the song ended abruptely which left me hangin, you know?

Well. Well, well, well. I can hardly believe what I’m hearing: I may just have to classify this as Folk Metal. Before you think I’m having a go, I should point out that I enjoyed this song.
The quiet section at the beginning is executed perfectly. The acoustic guitar is played very well and the singing complements it nicely. The main riff has a sort of medieval feel to it; is there a prog rock influence in there?
The heavier parts are rather more standard fare, but I can’t really pick out anything wrong with them. Extra points for ending the song before the listener has the chance to get bored.
The overall production is excellent, but more to the point, I’m pretty much blown away by the originality of this song. All minor faults can be overlooked as you had me hooked from start to finish. Keep up the great work!
