Jon Ketchum is a deeply passionate singer/songwriter with an edgy pop- rock sound based out of Los Angeles. Jon’s melodic words brilliantly portray landscapes conveying feelings of love, happiness, yearning, and a few scars that have been left behind. With such impacting songs as “Kiss to Die For” and “It’s Only Love” show a true testament to his songwriting prowess. With influences stemming from Bon Jovi to U2 he gathered the skills needed to impact the listener in a strong positive way. After high school he attended Musician’s Institute in Hollywood and was presented with the opportunity to play with Mandi Perkins. Jon has been busy playing showcases for various major labels and press, including Sony and Universal. He has also been playing shows across the United States, and even made a splash on the scene at South by Southwest in 2009. The debut EP “FIVE ONE SIX” consists of deep songs that show a truly compassionate young man dealing with real situations. Jon Ketchum is a talented musician that captures the heart as well as the ears and has the innate ability to connect with people.
“Jon Ketchum is one of the most talented artists I have ever encountered. His creativity and intuition make him an absolute pleasure to work with. Jon has been my lead guitar player for the last year and half and I can honestly say that he has taken my artistry to a new level. Beyond being a stellar musician, he is also a fantastic songwriter and can paint any picture with his guitar and voice. He is also very young, but shows wisdom far beyond his years. I cannot wait to see what he does next… “
– Mandi Perkins (Sony/BMG artist)
"Jon Ketchum is an multi talented young guitar player who also happens to be a great guy. I expect him to make a huge dent in the music industry over the next few years."
- Warren Huart (producer for Mandi Perkins, The Fray, Augustana)
