Well a bit about myself, I’m 21 years old and currently live in Hamilton, Ontario. I was born in Hamilton, but moved to a small town called Cayuga at a very young age. It’s there where I spent the majority of my life. I grew up in a very musical family. Both of my parents sing and play instruments and I developed a love for music at a very young age. I first started learning piano at the age of 12 and quickly picked up the guitar. I took piano lessons on and off, and taught myself guitar with a little help from my dad. In high school I started learning new instruments such as the alto, tenor, and soprano sax, as well as the clarinet, bass guitar, and drums.
Singing didn’t always come naturally to me, in fact I’ve always kinda struggled with it. Over the years I started to develop better tone and eventually I signed up for vocal lessons. Although I’m nowhere near where I would like to be as a singer, I have certainly come a very long way, and I’m not giving up yet.
I started writing music very early, however, it wasn’t till about three years ago that I started writing lyrics. During 2007 I wrote nearly 50 songs. However I was never very satisfied with them. In fact out of the 50 songs, there were maybe only two or three that I actually liked. But I kept working at it, and slowly I started writing better songs. By 2008 I had a list of 14 possible songs for my album titled Hold You in the Rain. I recently have cut out about half of the songs to leave room for future better songs.
My music has been on sites such as youtube for a couple years now. Although I haven’t received any level of internet-fame, I have been able to see which of my songs are popular and which ones are better left un-played. My first "hit" song was written in April 2007 and is titled Hold You in the Rain. Although I wouldn’t consider it my best work, it was definitely a song for capturing the listener’s attention. That song has been played in many live performances, as well as being covered in Australia. Other popular tracks include; Change Your Mind, Falling for You, Another Day, Alone, October, Callie’s Song and the newest song, With You.

You’re very talented. You will be a stars one-day. A studio would help some of that raw sound in your music, but the music itself is great. Keep getting out there and one day I can say I know someone famous. (corny I know but true)
