Most people know me from my drumming career where I've performed, recorded, and toured with many different artists and bands. I was a core member of The Young Dubliners from 1993 to 1999, and since then I have recorded or performed with Joan Osborne, Nels Cline, Freebo, John Fumo, Shane Fontayne, Paul Ill, Shelby Lynne, Lee Sklar, Mike Watt, Young MC, and many others.
People have also come to know me for my composing work in the worlds of film, television, and advertising.
I've licensed my music for the following major movie trailers: Pride And Glory, Babylon A.D., Traitor, Death Race, 21, National Treasure: Book Of Secrets, No Country For Old Men, Hostel 2, Deja Vu, Zorro 2, Outlaw, XXX State of the Union, Domino, Catch a Fire, Behind Enemy Lines 2, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I also did the music for the PVC-1 international trailers.
I've also licensed music to television promos and advertising including The Closer, TNT, TAG Heuer, & Vogue.
My father was a jazz drummer, and my grandfather (on my mom's side) was a well known Latvian painter, so I sometimes think this journey into music and art was inevitable. I enjoy hitting drums, strumming guitars, writing songs, composing music, working with creative people, creating new sounds, buliding things, breaking things, fixing things, talking, learning, loving, living, eating, sleeping. Most of all, I enjoy being married to my best friend and being a proud parent.

Bright Orange Studios is my high end recording studio where I get to play drums for lots of different projects, and is also where I record and produce bands and artists. Many of the artists that I've recorded are signed to my record label, Bright Orange Records, which has some of the best new music around.
