   About Jon Nickoll
If ever anyone was a hundred people in one, Jon Nickoll is that kind of bloke. A massively in demand performer, a writer of bewitching music, a producer, a bit of a singer's singer, oh and a passionate music fan. Like most of the musicians that are worthy of our admiration, it is impossible for Jon to fit neatly into any kind of category, he's just always moving too fast to pin him down...Anyway, you've tracked him down safely to his Myspace site, where we'll do our best to keep you notified as to all the latest news, scams and what's going on in his musical bonce right nowish by "BOZ" THE NEW ALBUM CINEMA MUSIC GETS 3.5 OUT OF 5 IN THE SUN!!! read the review in jon's blog

Hey Jon, cheers for the comment, loving your songs too, this is the first time I've signed in for a long time so I guess the summer is over now. We'll have to meet up sometime though. Funny enough I was thinking about Ed's hair the other day.

Hello Jon
Best wishes from the seaside.
Strangely enough, i've just returned from a run myself. To the tip!
Sat down with a cuppa, read your biog and listened to your music.
You've had an amazing journey so far. I really enjoyed the music, particularly, 'Adeline','Technology' and the wonderful 'Cinema Music.'
I hope your future is a bright and shiny one. Don't get too comfy in that hotel.
Regards
Paul

i should point out of course that when i say 'muppets' i genuinely mean muppets, the kermit the frog variety, as there were people dressed in muppet outfits dancing around behind us.

i wasn't intentionally insulting a group of people by referring to them collectively as 'muppets', as a certain someone who shall remain nameless has suggested (miss molloy).

hehehe maybe i really should get this stuff up on youtube!

;-P

yeah sounds good to me, we'll have to sort something out.

the 'setlist' on that night included such gems as walkin' the dog, johnny b. goode and two others which i can't remember off hand; probably because one of them lacked lyrics. then again it did have two guitar solos, a harmonica solo and 2 keyboard solos. hahaha i think that qualifies as progressive rock, man we were ahead of our time!!!

your voice sounds great on it tho, already showing signs of being a seasoned professional ;-) and yes you had the painted sg! i had a candy colour strat copy that weighed a tonne. i've still got it knocking about somewhere in 'the collection'.

the inimitable milk o'neill was indeed on keys, harvey on bass and the kirbster on guitar and 'volume'. you, me and dean completed the line up with special guest phillips on harmonica.

the highlight is the second night's performance; dancing girls in the form of annelise and anna, and a selection of muppets, the economy jim henson variety.

one for the boxset maybe hahaha

our conversation inspired me to hunt out the old video cassettes (remember them! ha!) and revisit that glorious evening... of course i said it was for the benefit of my better half, but i'm not sure how convinced she was... ;-P

i had forgotten about the kirby-free second night and our lack of lyrics for one of the tunes. not to mention the 24 hour keyboard solo. the stuff of dreams. of course, youtube exists for a reason... if only i could be bothered... hehehe...

thanks for the positive feedback re the audio justice album, glad you approve! it's nice to see that you recorded, produced and played everything on your album too. or maybe we're just difficult to work with hehe!

if you're interested, my proper non-myspace website is www. audiojustice. com, which also features a news item or two about my recent christmas single... oh yes, you read right, a christmas single...

;-)

Hey Jon, great to hear from you. Hope you're good and life is treating you well.

You know, performing live has never been quite the same without the Jim Henson (Economy) Muppet Workshop dancing in the background. And let's not get started on sparkly green bow ties...
