Jonnie Blanco is the result of a few coworkers getting together to play a corporate Christmas party and staying together for their love of music. As 4 songs turned into 20, then 50, and on to over 100 it became clear that there was something special about this combination. With two of the members each bringing in more than 20 years of experience it was no surprise to see the band soon become of DFW's more respected shows.
After having played hundreds of gigs throughout the metroplex over the past 4 years Jonnie Blanco has remained committed to bringing the best show possible to each gig. While venues have ranged from the very large with over 1000 participants (City of Keller Point Bash and Corporate Holiday Party at the Anatole), to the very intimate with less than 50 guests (private parties and weddings), most shows have been at local DFW clubs averaging a few hundered patrons. Catering to this type of range requires multiple sound configurations and a broad set list. In the interest of seperating themselves from other local bands Jonnie Blanco has invested heavily in their equipment to ensure the highest quality performance. They have also focused on incorporating seldom covered hits with the standard crowd favorites to provide a unique listening experience. By soliciting the crowd for input at every gig they make every effort to stay "in-tune" with their audience.
While playing new places and making new friends is fun their ultimate goal is to make sure everyone who spends time at one of their shows fully enjoys themself. They are also committed to "giving back" to their respective communities. By donating time and money they feel they are helping make DFW a better place. We invite you to spend a few minutes on this site so you can learn a little more about who they are and most importantly, where to find them next.
