Eeek! - is Knoxy offering his services?? Personally I don't think those pipes are all they're cracked up to be - I'd stick with the saw if I was you...
After you've finished here, you may like to hear this poem sung on myspace...
Poem 2 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): WALKABOUT WITH MY PEN
Once drove an old sedan, up north, From a place in Sydney to Cairns; Then to Kuranda I went forth, By train, to look without set plans.
I browsed through the trendy market, With fresh fruits of tropical kind; Walked to the creek through lush thicket - Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.
I dined in a scenic cafe; Then, outside, as I wrote for yen, Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey, You go walkabout with your pen.”
Request or question, I don’t know - Assured voices, elderly men. That’s now several years ago, And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.
Hello and thank you
I really think you have something special here, you can drift away with that song "For A Sweetheart"
I wish you lots of luck Jonny
All the best Laurie
Hello again. Do you know what time you are up on Sunday? If I can I'll try get off work and speed over the hills to the Forum. Have been waiting for ages for a local gig and finally one comes along. Good Luck.
Hey jonny boy just heard another drinking song for the first time - yet another diamond from the kearney mine, hope you're doing fine and hope to see you about some time. Simon
jonny - upload a newer version of maybelline - your version at the gala before rachel unthank & the winterset was absolute perfection. i would have paid my money just to have seen you and your fellow performers. (absolute bargain getting rachel, becky, niopha and steph into the bargain like!)
Jonny. Yourmusic is supreme! I saw you in sheffield and it was supermasing! Do you have a CD or somethin? I'd really like some of your music (please) to listen to. Cheers! Eoin x
As gospellers have said, Beneath signalling skies, On land dusty to tread, A trough in a stable Was the strawy first-bed Of a divine baby - The forgiving Godhead.
A season for new hope - There then and here now; The yuletide of goodwill - There then and here now.
In respect of this chance, Beneath bright or dark skies, Faith’s the star that we glance Attending Christ’s churches And trying to enhance, With singing and ritual, Our God-loving stance.
Heya, I'm the girl who came to speak to you the other week at the gala theatre :) you were ace! Can't say I've ever seen someone play a saw before either! It's nice to hear those songs again on here (although you need to put Dixon Street up, it's such a good song!). Hope everything's going well and you play round here again soon!x
