About Jono Fusion Project

I always wanted to rebel against the image of the typical classical violinist... you gotta start somewhere with your training so I attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama for four long years and tried unsuccessfully to conform! After working with everyone you're supposed to work with like the London Symphony Orchestra and Co. I moved into film and T.V. In 2002 I received a call from Mike Batt to join his innovative eight piece fusion band 'The Planets' who were signed to E.M.I Classics at the time. It was great fun and I never tired of running about on stage and generally enjoying myself around the world. I'm now one of the assistant musical directors of 'Guys and Dolls' in London. The stage still calls to me and my new project with James Pearson could get me back to strutting my stuff in front of screaming crowds again. So here, without further ado is my official blurb: Jonathan Hill (Violin) and James Pearson (Piano) together with Drums, Guitar,Bass and full string section, bring together the styles of classical and Jazz to bring an exciting new sound... watch this space... watch myspace...
