When I grew up I went through a stage when I could sing just about any song I heard, but I never knew who it was I was listening to. Now I know most of the time, but the fact is that I can't point to a few artists and say that's who influenced me. I've been influenced by the world around me. By the sound of the street on a busy day. The sound of the library when you turn the page. The sound your heart makes when it begins to cry. The silence I felt when you said goodbye. The sound of life as it ticks away. These are my influences.

I was just talking to Colin and Sonja on the phone earlier this evening about taking a trip up there on a weekend sometime this quarter. I want to make it happen. I'm gonna figure out some things with Jacob and all that and get a plan in motion. BTW... when my car was being fixed, I had the pleasure of rollin' around in a 2008 Dodge Charger... Dude -- I am so friggin' jealous!! U DON'T EVEN KNOW!!! (U know what I mean... I don't actually get jealous in the real evil sense... but basically, I just pretended like that Charger was mine for the few weeks I had it and it was AWESOME!!! lol) :)
I finally did it... I finally went on to "big cartel" and bought the "Everything" pack. :) Can't wait to hear the whole album. I'm so proud of you. Hope all is well. Things are good here.
