About me: Hello all single/multi-cell organisms! Welcome to the Official Jon Pyle MySpace Portal. I promise to try to personally respond to all messages as soon as possible. However, being extremely busy it may take a bit longer than either of us would like...so, my apologies in advance.

So here's a quick update on what's happening in the life of JP. I have all of the cd's about 1/3 finished. Thanks to Dave and all at the label for being patient and letting me get things the way I want them (will it ever happen?). My wife and I recently had a new little baby boy...Charles William Pyle. He's amazing! But it's also slowed down production on all Jon Pyle projects. It will probably still be a while before my notes are officially out there in the ether so be patient. In the mean time I've included the preliminary cover of "The Story So Far", my first instrumental cd. Also, for some great music check out some of my friend's links below. Check out Scott Brewer, Doug Rappoport, and Josh Cross. Great players, singers, songwriters, etc...
Here is just a brief overview of current projects for you to check out. I recently wrote a song for a label mate of mine, Scott Brewer, for his cd "10 Minute's Later". It's also on his new EP in 2 brand spankin' new remix versions!
I was recently signed to Sunstar Records out of Australia and I'm currently in pre-production for 4 separate cd's of my own for them. "The Story So Far..." is an instrumental cd. They're paying for lots of notes, by god they're gonna get 'em! The second cd is a straight-ahead jazz blowfest called "The Real Book Chronicles Vol. 1". The 3rd disc I'm working on is called "Now With Lyrics!" which is just a big amalgamation of vocal tunes from acoustic ballads to crushing heaviness. It's kinda spring cleaning for all of the vocal tunes I've had around for a while. Finally, I've put together some of my favorite Christmas tunes for an acoustic cd called "Dreaming of Snow".
Lastly, I'm writing an instructional book for guitar entitled "Into The Woodshed". I've worked on this project on and off for the last several years. I'm continually adding and updating the book and it's becoming quite a behemoth. It will most likely be split into several volumes before it's published and ready for public consumption. This is a culmination of years of playing, writing, studying, and performing bound into an easily digestible format!
Tunes are on the way for all the above so sit tight, they'll be here soon. Also check out www.myspace.com/lotsofnotes for tune updates!

Who I'd like to meet: Nikki Sixx & Tommy Lee-to thank them; Henry VIII-to say "what the hell man, pick one!"; Jesus-just to see what he was really like; John Adams-so I could say I spoke with the last honest man in America; & Bin Laden-to give him a good swift kick in the nuts....oh, and of course YOU!
