  • Bio

In Bordeaux, low city at the edge of waters, city of ornately carved stone and little greenery, I dream my once-lush-from-sea-to-shining-sea homeland dry and cracked, decimated by some unspecified apocalypse, one that comes slowly or strikes quickly, one that breaks the structures and systems that box us in as they self-perpetuate. Into, or out of, this breakdown, rides an outlaw. She is far, far, far from her origins, which have become stories, paper houses to which she can only return in imagination. She evades all grasps, she commandeers ships, she appears like a star or a ghost on certain nights. She invents a new iconography for a new age. ****************************************************************************************************** From 2000 - 2007 I lived in Bordeaux, where I played many concerts all over France with French singer Jon Smith, put out a first album (“Lines,” Odette Productions, 2004), and sang backup with Jon Smith, Madi, and Dollars. My second album, "Iconography of the Outlaw," was released in 2007 (Odette Productions). I also edit Louis Liard Magazine, which is now based both in Bordeaux and California: check it out in my friends! After a brief time in Seattle, I now live in San Francisco, where I sing in the chorus Conspiracy of Venus and the band Backlit. .... .. .. .. .. .. ......»-(¯..v..¯)-».... ..Design your MySpace with MyLook.. ....«-(¯..v..¯)-«......
