It's late night in Rome. Students and workers are waiting to start another day, dreaming on their pillows while the solitaire buzz of a computer in a dark city flat pushes Jontom's melodies to life: nocturnal sounds, fuzzy guitars, lo-fi rhapsodies and an abnormal vision of rock music spiced with pop elements.
Luca Jontom Tomassini was born in Rome, Italy at the dawn of the videogame era. It was 1979 and those glitchy sounds he heard were to feature in the music he was to create, even at the age of five. Ten years worth of hard disks and classical piano lessons later, he sent his passionate melodies over the web, earning the attention of music lovers worldwide. His sounds rise from a warm Scholze piano, 3 guitars and his latest love: the ukulele. Then are electronically stretched and twisted to create music that is slick, spacious and alternative.
