Along with concert and festival appearances, Jonty organises musicians for private functions and has played at most of the top hotels in London.
He has played for HRH Prince Charles, HRH Princess Anne, Sir Cliff Richard, Lord Sainsbury, Sir Peter Hall, Sir Phillip Green, Bill Clinton, David Cameron, Gordon Brown. Companies include Rolls Royce, BPP, Tesco and Honda. He was band leader on Swan Hellenic's cruise ship 'Menerva' and the resident bass player at the Dorchester and Claridges hotels.
After a childhood spent in Ghana and Zambia, Jonty moved to London to study music. Since then he has been a regular on the London music scene, playing at many of the UK’s premier events and venues and his time is punctuated by extensive world touring as well as film, radio, television and recording appearances.
A prolific composer, Jonty's music has appeared on numerous albums plus BBC and Channel 4 television. He studied composition, harmony and musical form with the great pianist and composer Ronald Francis Littlefield and has a first class BA Honours.
